Good idea - but the only non-stop LHR-MRU I can see is on Air Mauritius - I'll keep looking.
In looking for paid flights I found BOM-SEZ return in business class for $1148 - various carriers including EY via AUH (unfortunately just AUH-SEZ return is $3500 for the same dates !!). So one could fly Europe-AUH-BOM for 30,000 points then buy BOM-AUH-SEZ ..... crazy, yes but hardly a great option.
