If I book coach one pay as but business on the return will I get charged the business rate for the entire trip? Is there a more efficient way to get to Bali using points? I currently have chase ur points and some United points but am open to opening a credit card or 2.

Thanks in advance
Lots of questions here:
1) if you book jfk-hkg-dps, and have less than 24 hours stopped in HKg, you will be charged one price- the price of an award from the US to Indonesia.
2) AA awards are priced as one way. You can book at the coach rate outbound and business rate return (or vice versa).
3) without knowing how many points you have in other programs, and when you're looking to travel, hard to know whether you have better options. The best option is one that has availability on your travel dates.
