Just got back from a 4 night stay. We were not upgraded as Diamond members, even not to the 17th Floor (HHonors Floor). The reaction from reception was that there were to many Diamond members in the hotel. She said I had to call 2 days before for an upgrade. I got room #1002 with my wife. The room had no view and was a standard room. Nothing special. This hotel has no resortFee, but there a some other tricks.
$32 ValetParking, no other choise
$8 upgrade to full breakfast for Gold and Diamond Members.
The pool is small, the fitnessarea is ok. The hotel is about 5 minutes walking to downtown. Staff is nice. The lobby is under construction. The roomrates are the lowest for a Hilton Hotel at Honolulu, but it comes with attention.
I complain about the $8 fee for breakfast and got a creditvoucher for 4 days to full breakfast.
