Not sure either other than human error. I have been upgraded to 4 or 5 different types of suites at this hotel. The River view suites tend to be larger and have, as suggested by their name, nicer views over the river and / or the Bessborough across the street. The City view rooms really are rooftop views, especially on the lower floors. Some of those seem quite small and might fit in the lower size parameters above. The largest suite, the name of which I cannot recall, is actually 2 stories with a spiral staircase and a large bathroom with jacuzzi. Funnily enough, the last time I was assigned this room ( last Fall ), I was surprised to note that even though the rest of the hotel has recently been renovated this one suite doesn't appear to have been and seems older and a mite shabbier in comparison.

Overall though I am always treated well here. Both restaurants have been upgraded nicely within the last year as well.
