A bit harsh. If both properties are owned/managed by the same company, I don't see a problem. The SHS in Boca allows Plats from TPS to walk over for breakfast. Even if not, I'd commend the FS manager for looking at the bigger picture. And given the business he has given the FS, they may want to reward that and hope for more soon.
It's the old adage: If you don't ask, you don't get. Didn't sound like the OP had a DYKWIA attitude. Sounded like OP was willing to take no for an answer.
