I flew midmorning in early November out of LAS on UA...regular line was rather long..only a few in the Premier/First Class line..Took about 10 minutes to go through security..

Other lines were longer. It appeared that anyone checking bags had to have them hand-searched before getting up to the counter. That seemed to be the reason for long lines..Each airline had a table set up along their check-in lines..

I got there 1 hour early for my flight and had time to kill..
