Hello,
I flew in to Las Vegas Monday, Oct 1st, arrived at 12:15pm. Security lines were as long as the concourse upstairs, wraping around baggage claim. Lines were so long, there was yellow security tape to keep people from "cutting" in line. Flew out on Wednesday, Oct 3rd. Flight scheduled to leave at 11am. Got to the airport at 8:45. Airline checkin was 5 minutes (one guy used electronic checkin w/Continental, I have PLT with American), security lines were about 45 minutes (same length as above). Didn't hear/see anyone complaining about missing their flights, though.
