I'm looking to book two RDU-PHL-BRU flights for next March (to avoid scam charges that result from RDU - LHR - BRU) and I have two options.

First is a 1.5 hour connection coming from RDU on an A319 and the other is a 5.5 hour connection coming from RDU on an E170.

I assume that the 1.5 hour connection shouldn't be a problem? Especially since A319 should allow us to put carry-on in overhead instead of gate checking.
