How do I check with the driver if it's a set fare taxi?

What's the best route to take to Shinjuku from Haneda?
I am not to sure about the set fare taxi. I came in about 1030pm and I just took a regular taxi to my hotel in shinagawa which costed about 60usd
Have you tried Google maps using the train? I got around planning my routes the night before and wrote down the directions and followed.
