I installed iTunes and actually liked/used it...for about 3 days. But it has a problem that makes it unusable in my book:
Streaming: horrible. constantly stopping and rebuffering. No way to change the cache/buffer size. What's worse, when it is minimized and has to rebuffer, it insists on throwing up a big dialog with a default "cancel" button in the foreground. If you're typing something when this happens, you hit the cancel button and it shuts down. Stupid.
With the release of WinAmp 5, I have switched back. The UI is vastly improved, I really like the little fade-in/out track display even with streaming radio when minimized, and the WinAmp TV actually works really well. Pity that all I can get are endless music videos and the SFO NBC station. Man, I had forgotten how bad American network TV sucked.
