Because the phone line is currently down (we have builders in and they buggered it up) I'm using my T610, a data cable and GPRS to connect my work laptop to the Internet (and yes, I do know the cost). All seems fine (slightly better than modem connection) accept:

i) Every so often, my laptop (NT4 model supplied by employer) beeps.

ii) When I check dial up monitor, it reports 23 CRC errors and 27 hardware errors.

Should I be worried? I've sent and recieved a couple of attachments to/from the office (both causing the beeping and subsequent error reports) and they've come out fine at the other end.
