Just had a person at reloadit on the phone and they finally shot me a straight answer. The safe is being discontinued. They will be mailing every safe holder a check for the balance of their safes. This doesn't make sense to me. Aside from all of the RL stock out there, they have no idea who the person is behind a safe account. I find it hard to believe that their approach is to lock people out of their accounts and then wait until they complain before asking for identifying information to be submitted and sending a check.
It is not hard to believe they will be phasing out the safe, but not in some drastic fashion such as this. I just came from my local grocery store, and I easily could have loaded up with $5K of RLs while there.
