self-reseting PC clock

Sorry if this is too far off topic, but I don't know who else to ask. Ever since daylight saving time, my PC computer clock keeps reseting itself back to standard time. I have tried checking and unchecking the daylight savings time check box on the Windows 2000 set time and date control panel, I have set it to Alaska time. Every time I set the clock to the correct time, my computer automatically resets itself to Pacific standard time. Are there any utilities or other cryptic settings that I may have tweaked that are automatically synchronizing my clock to the wrong time that I can turn off>
