Strange?? About 3 days after getting my iphone 6 plus I followed the instructions from ATT and sent in an unlock request. Amazingly got an approval e-mail less than a minute later.
Followed the unlock instructions and after the phone restarted Itunes reported that the phone had been unlocked and it restarted just as it had been and as far as I know my phone is unlocked.
As to the $650 rebate.bought the phone on May 5 and met the spend the same day. Was told the spend wouldn't count until the first statement closed on May 21 and that it would be one to two cycles to receive the rebate. Today I got my second statement and no rebate so phoned to verify everything was set to get the rebate on the next statement and the CSR confirmed I was set to get the rebate on the next statement.
Didn't want to pay the value of the rebate and have to then get a credit check so since part of the promotion is 0% interest until November so paid the full additional charges plus the minimum payment on the first statement and voila, the balance is 0% interest on the balance so will be paying again the minimum until the credit shows up.
CSR told me if for some reason no credit next month they will provide the credit manually. From all of the issues showing up on this thread can't help wonder if people are not following exactly the instructions like the previous poster who paid with Paypal. Don't believe that will work even if the Access card is the card on Paypal used to pay as the instructions are to use the Access card directly. Words to the wise for others before they pay using the wrong method.
