Their reps don't know the product. They have told me plenty of incorrect things, most recently that the offer did not apply to replacing (aka upgrading) a phone. Even though the Replace a Phone button is right there on the screen they designed.
Oh, and they also told me that you have to spend the $2k before the offer becomes usable.
It's almost as if they just want to get you off the phone...
They asked me to mail or fax (yes I said mail) a copy of my "AT&T Access More Phone Offer Receipt" in order to process my request. I assume they mean the phone purchase receipt, but it's absurd that we have to jump through hoops when we used the "special phone offer link". They also want me to write my full account number on the top of my correspondence. How antiquated.
