Z is the cheapest business class ticket available, it's usually the most restrictive and earns the lowest number of miles for a payed business class ticket.
KL's fares sometimes make me laugh!
For a longhaul ticket I booked a few days ago, KL wanted € 4,500 in Z/D, direct flight but no flatbed guarantee. With one stop, EY, QR and TK were about one third cheaper, and they all of course offer flatbeds. KQ wanted only € 1,500. The latter ticket was fully flexible to boot, with only a €100 cancelation penalty.
Guess what I went for.
