This isn't just a Star Alliance post, but since I'm star gold I thought this would be the place to start.

I know there's a UA club...I THINK there's an LH lounge, there's a skyclub (which I can't access and they don't sell passes unless you're travelling DL), a couple other third party ones I don't have access to.

I've got about 12 hours to kill in Dallas, no MAJOR desire to leave the airport, but I gotta figure out what to do in that time, 10am-10pm.

I had found this blog post that suggests one can access the LH lounge just by having a star gold card (I'm star gold, I don't have a card, I know my Aeroplan number and I have a picture of that card, but they don't really give us a Star Gold card per se) even when not travelling on Star. In this case I'm on AC YYZ-DFW then AA DFW-MEX then CM MEX-PTY.

Does anyone know if I can access the LH lounge? If not, where should I go? I don't MIND paying the $50 for AA access but if there's something better I'll go for it. Unfortunately I don't have an AMEX anymore so looks like centurion is out.
