First of all, I would like to apologize for the mess and confusion that I have caused, I meant no harm and there was no secrecy about it. I'll explain.

About 10-12 days ago I started to search for a long mile run trip and I came across either PVG or PEK destinations, I'm not sure which, but starting the trip in LGA the price was like seven hundred and change and if I started the trip in DFW it was like $1900, so it occurred to me the "what if" and that the reason of me posting this question, even though I never booked that and that deal is long gone. However, I managed to get the DFW-HKG and I already posted for anybody else to take advantage of.

I also didn't mean to be aggressive by asking just the people with the direct experience on the subject, as you would imagine, let's say that somebody answered this post by second guessing (not with the intention to cause harm) and me later on with another scenario like it or anybody else that read the post making the mistake and then, well, you all know the consequences by now I guess, most of you have answered it pretty clear. So again, I'm sorry and I apologize if I sounded rude, it was not my intention.

By the way, I never do check-in luggage (I just don't trust the airlines with my luggage getting to my destination at the same time that I do), I only travel with a carry-on, therefore if my proposed "idea" would have worked, luggage would had not been an issue.^

If it makes you all laugh, last but not least, I thought about this idea on the same principle as someone missing the departure of a cruise and then "catching it" at a later port. LOL!!!
