AF 254 CDG - SIN (depart 7.25pm, Terminal 2E)

From what I understand in this thread, I'll need to exit airside in Terminal 2F, walk across (landside) and transfer back in to Airside in Terminal 2E?

1. Any idea if Passport Control will be done in GVA or in CDG (Since GVA - CDG is Shengen area but my ultimate destination is SIN)?
ANS: OK, after re-reading the thread it seems that passport control is done in CDG since I'm transferring from Shengen to Non-Shengen in CDG.

2. Is this 1hr15min transfer realistic for a first timer to CDG? I'm flying on a Friday, and on Biz class if either of those two information makes any difference.

I can change the GVA - CDG to AF 1443 (arrive 4.00pm, Terminal 2F) for a 3hr25min layover if that would be 'safer.'
Thanks for updating this thread and your question is just opposite of mine. I also am under the impression that I need to go landside to transfer from 2E to 2F based on this thread. I will be flying AF YYZ-CDG-AMS and having to connect from 2E to 2F. Do I really have to go landside then over to 2F? I know passport control is somewhere but do I have to go landside?
