Finally had a chance to stay at the K street Hyatt property. It's really new so most DC cabbies are not aware of this location... just a heads-up.

Pros and cons:

- Free (w/ hot options) breakfast in lobby
- Free internet but kind of slow and session timed out several times
- 24hr food/beverage service in lobby (eat there or bring up to room)
- small gym but sufficient
- Not the most efficient staff but polite enough
- Location is pretty central for business travelers (ahem! its next to a strip club as well).

During my stay there was a huge convention of LEOs (from allover the country) that weekend. Off-duty LEO's probably like to party because I could hear the ruckus from hallway. Nothing too crazy but I could hear doors open/close/get slammed.

- Noise proofing is not upto par
- Lighting is a bit dingy in the rooms
- slowwwww elevators

I didn't have time to check for office/printer services or any other amenities.

Property's GM sent me an email after my stay which was a nice touch. I have been Marriott Plat for few years and never had a GM reach out with a thank you note for my business. Nice touch. ^

It's sortta no frills property but is just enough to get by for a short stay.
