I currently have both of these cards, both which offer almost identical benefits. I believe the only different between the two is the annual fee. Aviator Red is $89 while AAdvantage is $95. I'm trying to figure out if there is any reason to have both of these cards. My thoughts are that Aviator Red may have more promotions in order to keep people on the card. But other than that I cannot think of a reason to keep these two.

One (hopeful) thought is that since both cards offer 10% redemption and cap it at 10,000 miles, maybe the cap increases to 20,000 miles? Not sure if anyone has any experience with this, but it would be nice to know since that would make it worth keeping both cards.

If anyone can think of some more pros and cons of each card and whether it would be worth it to keep both, or if there is one I should keep over the other, please let me know!
