Can they even do that once the miles post to Delta? Gah!

My AF just hit last month but I intend to keep the card until the end of July. Then I'll just cancel it and go back to the regular debit, if I stay at all. I would think that they must refund a portion of the AF (for ex, if I only keep it 3 months of the year, I should get $56 back for the other 75%). Anyone with experience here? Maybe someone who got shut down mid year?
