I have a few trips planned this summer that will be on AA/US and based on my calculations, believe I will be able to secure enough EQP's to successfully complete the AA Gold Challenge (5k EQPs in 3 months).
My question is, does AA ask for proof of other airline's status? I can prove that I have the status, but my Fiance can not. She's taking the same trips with me and will also accumulate 5k EQPs in the 3 month period. It would be awesome if I could sign her up for the challenge too, so that we both get Gold Status.
For those of you who have applied, did you provide proof? If you provided proof, was it just a screenshot from your SkyMiles account?
Can AA ban her from the AAdvantage program for trying to take the challenge without competitor status?
Thanks,

You don't need matching status anywhere to engage in a Gold or platinum challenge, but there are important things to know. Begin by reading the wiki.
