I think when CS is busy that is the best time to load. Now would I run 4 cards on 4 different transactions? Absolutely not, but I used to work at target and when there is a long line sometimes procedural things are skipped. Such as checking ID. It's very easy just to press K1 to go past whatever screen comes up.
When it is busy I NEVER do more than 2 transactions.
