Perhaps some of my "guesses" aren't guesses but are leading questions/indicators to point others toward the kind of known behavior that should be expected going forward for/from the involved figures in my so-called social network?

The era of Aman being about relatively low-profile luxury vacation experiences is not just at risk; it's going away under current ownership. That doesn't mean Aman isn't still a special experience and won't continue to be, but it does mean things have changed.
