Yes there is a way. I did it once because I had forgotten a bag in the check-in area and realised it when I had reached the lounge (the lounge had actually been advised).

I walked back to where I was coming from, explained the reason for my wanting to go through, had to wait for a supervisor to open some kind of door and off I was in the open land side.
