I probably will not fork out 50 euros just for a morning shower. But I'll drop by and give it a shot to see if the dragons will let me in.

I can see the argument from both sides (hey, I am a lawyer, after all ) and I can see why both airlines and authorities do not want to encourage individuals to come back landside after having gone airside. I would, however, question the notion that it is reasonable to force all individuals to stay airside and get on their flight under any circumstances (other than, presumably, medical emergencies or irrops?) and not allow them landside even if their flight is, say 10 or 12 hours later.
Surely there is room for more reasonable solutions rather than absolute ones?
I believe that there is a "way", hence my question is asking if anyone knows about this "way". I do have some doubts about the French authorities (I'm thinking Mehran Karimi Nasseri, the inspiration behind the Terminal movie). But let's not get too far about that.

My point is there are many airports out there that you are able to, still with some sort of escort, go from departure hall to arrivals if you know who or where to ask. I also know few that will not let you, or I haven't found a way yet.

And to your point of now allowing them to landside, that is actually not true. I still have a choice of either go through as a transit pax straight to airside or pass immigration as an arrival pax outside. I just wanted to do one after another
