I am pretty sure that the OP is arriving at SYD on an international sector operated by EK BUT he departs Australia (initially) on a domestic sector operated by QF.
Hence CD being provided without problem on arrival at SYD - but NO equivalent CD upon departure from SYD to take a domestic sector to MEL.
OK, seems I was wrong, SIN and MEL are only on the inbound, not on the outbound, so indeed the OP has no issues with being collected from the international arrivals hall after arriving on a direct EK flight into SYD; the return, though, does indeed fall outside the scope of the chauffeur drive offer, because of the "detour" via Tullamarine and the consequent domestic sector on Qantas.
