CDG Long layover, Can I go to departure lounge then exit out to Paris?
Hi, long time lurker here with a question I can't seem to find any answers yet.

I will have a 12+ hours layover in CDG on AF. Arrive in 2E and depart from 2E. I have DL Gold (E+) so I will have lounge access.
I am thinking of spending my full day in Paris but I want to get some shower and breakfast in the AF lounge first. I understand that I don't have access to the arrivals lounge, so I am thinking of using the departure one first (going through as transit pax rather than arrival pax) then hit the city after the AF lounge.

Is this even possible?
Can lounge staff escort me back to immigrations?

If not any suggestions?
