My sister and husband were traveling back from Cyprus last night into MAN and pilot aborted landing in MAN as winds were so bad. Regained altitude and made a still scary (kettle definition of scary) landing in LGW. They all then got a bus transfer to MAN from LGW. My sister says, she has never been so frightened in her life.

Any more diverts due to the high winds in the last 24 -48 hours?
