I originally booked YYZ-YVR-KIX for coming October. However I found out that the YVR-KIX leg had a schedule change for 6 hours! (which defeat my only reason for taking the Rouge flight) So I called up AC reservation to see if YYZ-NRT-ITM is something they can accommodate. After a few blind transfers (why they do that?), a very helpful agent listed out all my options. When I ask about YYZ-NRT-ITM, I was told she can't put me on it because the NRT-ITM flight (AC6253) is not AC codeshare!

I told her it said so in the website:

and she responded saying yes she sees that too but her system said it isn't.

So, my questions is: How's that possible?
