Bangor - as it's typically the eastern-most U.S. port of entry for west-bound TATL - sees some law enforcement action, too, on occasion.
Winter winds test 757 range on TATL. Carriers could make opps more reliable by blocking seats from sale, but would have to forego the revenue. There's at least one carrier that likes to take passenger money and force the tech stop.
