And also JFK WX is listed. Very rainy/windy at JFK, meaning that they slow down arrivals and the aircraft might have to enter a holding pattern. Might not be possible if headwinds had burned a lot more fuel than anticipated during the TATL crossing. So better to make the tech stop.
