Pre-Departure Beverage service: Water bottles at the seat. No FA was present in the cabin to greet passengers, there was no offer of any PDB, and there was no apparent reason for the total absence of service.
Meal served: Lunch
Description of the meal: The offer was pasta with chicken and a chipoltle cream sauce, served with broccolini. I've had more than my share of insipid airline pasta dishes over the past few months, so I passed.
Instead, I asked if I could have the
Fruit and Cheese Plate from Coach. ^
Apparently I wasn't the only person who was not enamoured of the pasta offering, as I saw at least 3 other cheese plates make their way into the pointy end of the plane.
When will AS get the hint that some of their First Class offerings are anything but First Class?
