I guess I have the first report of the new year? (And credit goes to my significant other... she's the one who actually flew.)
Date the flight was taken: 01Jan
Route flown: LAX-SEA
Class of service: F
Length of flight: 2:40
Meal served: Snack (7:40pm departure)
A brief description of the meal: Polenta with Arugula salad
Sorry, no photo. Sounded tasty though.

Route: SJC-SEA
Class of service: F
Length of flight: 2:00
Meal type: Snack - 3pm departure
Meal: Chicken salad salad - chicken salad on a green salad with some pita triangles on the side. Tasty; would have preferred a half pita instead of triangles so I could have made a sandwich-y thing out of it.

12/31/2014 - SJC-PDX, Flight 409, 1:55 p.m. departure, F class.
Kale salad with sweet potatoes, lentils and bacon, with garlic bread. I don't usually do short-haul routes, but this has to be some of the best domestic food I've had for such a short flight.

1/6 PHX-SEA 305p departure: the banh mi sandwich is back. I didn't notice if it was white or dark meat chicken though (I didn't have it).
1/9 SEA-PHX 835p departure: cookies! They were plentiful too. Flavors this month are white chocolate macadamia nut and strawberry shortcake(!). The latter was surprisingly good.
The two ANC based crews on this trip were absolutely fantastic. ^

Route flown: BLI - HNL
Class of service: F
Length of flight: 5:50
Meal served: Dinner
A brief description of the meal: Starter salad w/ feta and mango.
Choice of shrimp skewer on rice or mango braised rib.
I had the rib. It came with mashed potatoes and 2 partial chunks of carrot. lol
Dessert was a little attempt at a creme brule without the crisp sugar topping.
I meant to take a picture of the menu, but forgot! They are on brown paper boasting "Alaska Beyond" instead of the old white paper.

BOS-SAN 1/9/15 - Dinner
Kale and Polenta free
AS769 BOS-SAN
January 9 2015
Dinner
Appetizer Salad
Beecher's Flagship and "shirmp" Caesar
Warm dinner roll
I don't like seafood. FA said it came with the shrimp on it so it could not be left off so I ate around it. Cheese was good on the salad. I had a chunk so it was like a 4th appetizer course.

Choice of Entrees
Cucina Fresca Three Cheese Ravioli
Smoked Mozzarella and Cherry Tomato Sauce
Grilled Zucchini

Decent. I didn't eat the hardened cheese sheet that covered the pasta dish
or
Trident Wild Alaskan Cod Puttanesca
Lemon Orzo
Steamed Broccolini
Don't like fish so thankfully I was in row 2 and got a choice
Dessert
Warm Blackberry Cobler

Lots of cobbler, little berrys

In back they had biscuits and gravy. Up front was Kale and Polenta free.
AS768 SAN-BOS
January 10 2015
Breakfast
First Class Breakfast
Mexican Style Fruit
Warm Fresh Pastries
Its styled like the spicy mango lollipops. Not too spicy. Mango and the green fruit was rock hard. In row 4A I got the last cheese danish.

Choice of Entrees
Bacon and Leek Quiche
Asparagus

Nice sized portion, with a surprise juicy grilled tomato. Quiche Looked kind of dry but was nice and moist inside. Nice bacony taste, thankfully not too eggy. Seasoned well.
or
Buttermilk Pancakes with Apple Walnut Compote
Scrambled Eggs
Chicken Apple Sausage
Everyone onboard got their first choice. Pancakes looks really good as well. Seatmate shoveled it down pretty fast.

SEA to SNA (1/9/15)
SNA to SEA (1/11/15)
2.5 hours
Snack/ Dinner Time
I just flew both to SNA and back and it was polenta and arugula both ways. Sorry to say. There was much conversation about it in the first class cabin. Was interesting to listen in. Several passed and made jokes. The options in the back sounded pretty tasty! Even a cheese and fruit platter would have been tasty. I love Alaska Air and I do hope they revisit the FC food options with the new focus of Alaska Beyond. I would think they would.

AS573 SAN-PDX 06:30 departure
Greek scramble with roasted potatoes and sausage and a bit of fresh fruit
Being that I'm not a big breakfast eater it was fine for me. The temperature could have been hotter but the flavor was alright. Service from a SAN based crew was very good.
