Actually I tried purchasing on target online last week using the Prepaid Redcard and the 5% discount and free shipping did NOT come up. I then used my Target Redcard CC and sure enough the 5% discount appeared. I contacted CS and they were not sure why it doesn't show up. But the CS said they can manually override the transaction to account for the 5% discount and free shipping. I only had to provide them a transaction number. I ended up using my Target CC instead to not bother with the hassle. I did do an questionnaire follow-up and stated they need to look at this 'glitch' since the discounts should be applying automatically. Not sure if/when this will get corrected on Target's part.
