Etihad weighing hand carry two times at SFO
Recently went to BOM from SFO by Etihad Jet Airways flight. The flight was more than half empty but at check in at SFO the staff first weighed my hand carry and put a tag on it and wrote the weight behind the tag. At gate there was a weighing machine and every guest was asked to weigh their hand baggage as well as laptop bag again to make sure hand was 7kg or less and laptop bag was 4kg or less!! I have flown almost all airlines out of SFO and nobody weighs hand carry again at gate!! Whats up Etihad??
