AF lounge in NKC

Yes, the identity sign is the AF logo, There are no identity signs for other airlines using NKC. Only AF passengers are allowed entry (access voucher provided by AF check in desk). Passengers on other international flights (not part of skyteam e.g RAM and TK) are not allowed access. It is only open four evenings a week corresponding to the AF flights to CDG. When involuntary rerouted twice on TK metal during the recent AF pilots strike it was closed.

It is small with seating for about 24 people. Only soft drinks, tea and coffee are offered along with some biscuits. There is a newspaper/magazine rack, pure French in content, except for the Economist. However, it is a haven from the NKC airside departures area which can be extremely crowded and hot with extremely poor facilities. I have been traveling the CDG-NKC-CDG route for up to seven times a year for almost four years.

A new airport is under construction to the the north of NKC and it will be interessting to see what level of facilities will be provided.
