Hi all! I'm looking to book CNS->BNE->LAX, however, on the day I'm looking at there's no VA flight early enough from CNS to make the departure from BNE at 1115. However there's a jetstar flight that morning (0600-0810) and a qantas (0655-0855). Do either of those options give me enough time to transit at BNE? Doesn't VA7 depart at 1015 not 1115? Or have the times been changed?
I've found early morning flights in Brisbane are often delayed as theres only one runway in Brisbane and there's just too much air traffic around that 8am mark for everyone to land at the scheduled times.
I would be looking at flying down the night beforehand as well.
If you took VA770 (CNS 0545 BNE 0730) then you will need to check in at 0445 (Virgin has a 60 min check in cut off for domestic connecting to international flights), which means getting up at least 0345 if not earlier.
