Which VGC's are you buying from Smiths/Kroger? The last card I bought will not load to BB or allow me to buy a MO. I tried four different locations/stores. I finally call the card services and was told it can't be used for anything but purchase of goods. The card is a Visa from US Bank. Has only one else had this problem? I have used these for MS a lot in the past..
Do you still have the packaging? Your card likely came with a PIN assigned and shown on a little card inside the packaging. If you don't use that PIN the first use of the card, it often loses it's debit capability even if you try to reassign a PIN by calling in, or first use, or online.
