A. To try it out before I try to use it on the laptops.
B. As it stands, the weather gadget doesn't work because it receives no sensor information. I typically keep a couple of weather windows open to keep tabs on the weather in other places.
Other than that, I have no real interest in locating myself all the time (I usually know where I am), and it's strictly to make the thermometer work. However, if it turns out there are other benefits, I might use them too.
If there are other methods to accomplish my desired task, let me know.
