I'm surprised you didn't know about it already, being in "Award booking service" category, it's something you could also suggest clients

Use a random address, or simply change your country
You transfer AP --> USDM, which will merge with AA, hopefully 1:1

In 2016, USDM is gone, nobody knows what Points.com will do. We can hope for 100:84 AP:AA, that'll be cool

Over the years, I have done all sorts of upgrades and downgrades. My account has looked something like this (although cannot recall my air miles bonuses from 2007 prior):

Regular MC - 1990-1995
Air Miles MC - 1995-2002
Air Miles Gold - 2002-2007
Air Miles MC - 2007 - 2012
BMO World Elite - 2012 - 2013 (FYF, +$350 travel + 4 lounge passes)
BMO Rewards - 2013 - 2014 ($35 AF - to keep leftover rewards to spend)
BMO Preferred Rate MC - 2014-2015 (No fee + 11% interest)
BMO Air Miles MC - 2015 (no fee + 500 Airmiles)

I am hoping to go back up to a BMO World Elite next year if they have a FYF promo.

I think whether or not I get the bonus depends on how far back their card history goes.
Just FYI: BMO World Elite isn't good for churning, so you will NOT get welcome bonus (again), but possibley FYF again

But yeah, funny how BMO has enough cards for you to switch around, ha ha
Personally, I wouldn't sign up anything unless it's 1500~2000 Air Miles, FYF (like AMEX Air Miles Platinum)
