My colleagues are nuts about Hendricks. I certainly appreciate why they like it; it just doesn't match my budget as an everyday gin for G&Ts. For that I'm a fan of New Amsterdam. It's smooth like Bombay Sapphire but at less than half the price.
New Amsterdam has nice citrusy notes that work well with tonic. But it would be awful in a martini. I love Plymouth in a martini.
