Just to add some reality. My MIL gave us upgrades, but the counter at DEN for some reason didn't want to give them to us. The supervisor kept on telling the agent that the upgrade was valid, but agent seemed to be looking for a way to keep us out of F. The old days weren't all awesome service. That was my first ride in F.
