I think that entire inteview was ridiculous and also somewhat racist towards the end. Effectively, what we have here is a report with an attention-grabbing headline, but (to you and I) full of blank pages. Anderson simply repeated some bland "talking points" unsubstantiated, and tried to appeal to some viewers' anti-Middle Eastern sentiments.
Chapter 11 certainly gives you more flexibility when things go south, which allows you to perhaps be less risk-averse. Emirates does not have similar arrangements, AFAIK, with its creditors.
I'm also surprised that Richard Quest didn't ask about making the report public. Let's see what Tim Clark (presumably) says in response.
