Wow. What a saga. A good story for your family. (I won't suggest that you avoid Friday the 13ths to begin travel in the future.) At least you had a bed in MAJ, compared to other islands where you cannot leave the airport. Since MAJ is a shark sanctuary, I guess you did not have a choice of shark for dinner. Glad a shark did not have you as a choice for dinner either.

Don't hold your breath for an offer for TKK stranding.
