If it's being hard coded into the POS system to trigger at $2k, I would think you won't be able to do multiples of $1.5k at different registers since your license number has to be typed in. I would think they will track it similar to CVS.
Has anyone tried using a passport card or other form of ID? I carry mine and occasionally pull it out instead of my DL if I am not paying attention. Even managed to use it getting a speeding ticket one time - didn't realize until it was handed back to me with my ticket.
If it becomes hard coded to DL, it could be a way for some of you major MSers to double your monthly allotment. I'll try to remember to try it next time I buy GCs at Kroger.
