I'm pretty sure that any amounts will get the 5x. This is my first month with the card so I didn't want to just sign up and start charging $5k+ at grocery stores. I currently work at a grocery store, so I put a lot of regular spend on there as well. Any time I get lunch or even a soda, it goes on this card. I'll be increasing the GC purchases, but wanted to test things slowly and see what works and avoid any major red flags.
