I bought a flight for this Sunday. I am waitlisting a SWU on the flight. Only problem is after 2 days, it is still waiting to be ticketed. Chances look pretty good for the upgrade to clear if seat maps are any indication of loads/elites.

Anyhow I was hoping for it to be ticketed sooner, to improve upgrade chances. Is there anyway I can ask for it to be ticketed quicker? I know for me the majority of my flights get ticketed within 48 hours. Is there anyway to make a special request? Can I do this through the Exec Platinum line?

Any tips on the "language" to use? And why does ticketing always take so long on AA?
