Not if you are flying from SEA. As it appears OP would be. The routings through YVR, SFO, LAX, DEN, etc. are IMO much preferred from the west coast.

OP, not sure this is an appropriate question for this thread - there are many possible routings and you will get widely differing opinions on the pluses and minuses of the various carriers, and in particular, whether the *A partner award is worth the extra miles.
